The nearby village of Edison Washington is a short ten minute drive from Northbank Cottage. Edison offers a great mix of informal eateries, taverns and specialty food stores.

The delightfully local Edison Cafe the "oldest eatery in town." Popular with locals and visitors alike the Edison Cafe serves up hearty breakfasts and great lunches. With breakfast all day, old fashioned hospitality and home cooking this is a great stop for quick, hearty food and lots of local gossip! Location: downtown Edison. The Old Edison Inn serves up tasty deep or pan fried oysters, big burgers, tender steaks and great micro brews.
